I shouldn't have to tell you that a woman, especially an irresistible woman, should never stink. All women need to bathe daily, brush their teeth at least twice a day (brush also after you've eaten or drank something with a strong odor like coffee or onions), wear deodorant, and keep your hair clean.
But smelling delicious is NOT the same thing as not stinking. It's applying a perfume or body spray so great-smelling that he'll want to keep his nose nestled in your neck, or give your palms gentle kisses so he can smell your wrists.

Please don't underestimate the power of smells. They evoke memories. Smells can alter one's mood and well-being. Without your sense of smell, it would be quite difficult to even taste food. And it would be quite difficult to be an Irresistible Woman without making this rule your creed: Smell Delicious.

Because perfume can be quite expensive, please don't go out and buy a big bottle of something your man might not even like. Start small by asking for samples at Department Stores. Test them out; but do not solicit compliments. Don't say, "How do you like my new perfume?" No. Shhh. And let him (husband, boyfriend, brother, coworker, friend, whomever) say "You smell great! What are you wearing?" Buy that perfume and smell delicious.
In addition to your body, your hair, car, and home should smell wonderful as well. Don't leave dirty dishes in the sink or neglect to take out the garbage. You don't want a man to walk into your house and pinch his nose closed. Burn scented candles or incense. The same thing holds true for your car. If you don't shower at the gym after you work out, place a towel over your car seats when you're driving home, so that you don't ruin the fabric to smell like sweat. Buy an air freshener and hang it from your rearview mirror.

"My husband was thumbing through one of my magazines. One of the fragrance advertisements was for this sexy, new, floral scent. He sniffed the scent strip and said, "Ooh!" Needless to say, I bought it. He just can't get enough when I wear it."

"E, the other day when I got undressed for bed, Phillip said my vagina smelled like ammonia!! Talk about humiliated!"

Erin, 24 Actress Because smell is the strongest link to memory, a new, unique scent will ensure that your guy will always associate that fragrance with you.

Teasing with fragrance is one of the best ways to drive a man crazy.

For instance, odor molecules must be small enough to be volatile (less than 300-400 relative molecular mass) so that they can vaporize, reach the nose and then dissolve in the mucus. This tells us that smell, unlike taste, can signal over long distances (an early warning device). We appear to have an innate ability to detect bad, aversive smells. One-day old babies give facial expressions that indicate rejection when given fish or rotten egg odor.

But, is our olfactory system doing more than just giving us warnings? Yes, of course. Amongst other possibilities, it serves a recognition function. We all have our own unique smell (some more pleasant than others! - but that's another story, see "mate choice" below) and can recognize and be recognized by our smell.

Tim Jacob, Role of Smell

Smell is one of the chemical senses, the other being taste. They are so called because they sense chemicals, and smells are, of course, chemicals. With these senses we sample our environment for information. We are continuously testing the quality of the air we breathe (this will alert us to potential dangers, e.g. smoke) as well as using this sense to inform us of other relevant information, such as the presence of food or another individual. The chemicals detected by our sensory systems need to have certain properties.
